Strawberry Glaze Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 qt. strawberries
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. butter
red food coloring
baked pie shell
Preparation

Prepare berries and crush enough to make 1 cup; leave the rest whole.
Combine crushed berries, sugar, water and cornstarch. Bring to boil.
Cook over low heat 2 to 3 minutes or until clear, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
Add butter and a few drops of food coloring.
Cool slightly.
Combine whole berries with cooled mixture.
Pour into baked pie shell.
Cool.
Serve with whipped cream.
