My Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    1 lb. flour
    8 eggs
    1 lb. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 lb. raisins
    1 lb. candied cherries
    1 lb. candied pineapple
    1 lb. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Separate eggs.
    Beat egg whites stiff.
    Cream butter, sugar and egg yolks.
    Add egg whites to butter-sugar mix.
    Then add flour and vanilla.
    Take 1/2 to 1 cup flour, to lightly flour nuts, fruit and raisins.
    Fold in fruit and nut mixture into 1st mixture.
    Pour in floured Bundt pan.
    Place pan over pan of water while cooking.
    Also place brown bag over top.
    Cook 4 hours at 250\u00b0.
    Use tester.
