Cheese Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    buttermilk (approximately 2 c., enough to mix)
Preparation
    Sift flour; add shortening and cheese.
    Mix together.
    Add buttermilk and knead together.
    Turn dough on a lightly floured surface and knead together.
    Roll dough out about 1/2 inch thick. Cut with floured biscuit cutter.
    Bake on a cookie sheet at 425\u00b0 for about 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
