Baker'S Cream Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. Crisco
    dash of salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Blend milk and flour until smooth.
    Cook over medium heat until it becomes thick paste.
    Pour over butter, shortening, salt and sugar.
    Stir together.
    Add vanilla and stir.
    Chill in freezer until well chilled.
    Remove from freezer and beat on medium, then high until whipped.
