Really Quick Wheat Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
    1 c. unbleached flour (can use all-purpose)
    1/2 c. bran
    1/2 c. sugar or 1/3 c. honey mixed with liquids
    1 Tbsp. shredded orange peel
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. clabbered milk, buttermilk or yogurt
    1 slightly beaten egg
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients, then blend milk with egg.
    Add liquid to dry ingredients.
    Stir and pour batter into greased loaf pan, dusted with wheat germ.
    Sprinkle wheat germ on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
    Let loaf rest 10 minutes in loaf pan, turn out and brush loaf with honey.
