Kraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 (No. 2) can kraut, drained and chopped
    1/2 c. celery, cut fine
    12 c. green pepper, chopped fine
    1 Tbsp. onion
    2 Tbsp. pimento
    grated carrots
Preparation
    Beat sugar and vinegar until clear.
    Cool and pour over the remaining ingredients.
    Let set for at least 4 hours before serving.
