Gingersnaps - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/4 c. molasses
3/4 c. Crisco
1 egg
2 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cloves
Preparation

Mix ingredients together; chill.
Roll batter in walnut size balls and dip in sugar.
Place sugar side up on cookie sheet. Bake at 375\u00b0 about 12 to 15 minutes.
These flatten and crackle on top.
