Ham Asparagus Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/3 c. quick cooking rice, cooked
3 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
1 c. shredded pasteurized processed Swiss cheese
8 (1/4-inch) slices boneless, fully cooked ham
24 to 30 asparagus spears, cooked and drained
1/4 c. shredded Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Melt butter. Blend in flour and salt. add milk and cook, stirring constantly, until thick. Add Swiss cheese and stir until melted. Blend 1 cup sauce with cooked rice. Spoon an equal amount of rice mixture onto narrow end of ham slice.
Top each slice with 3 to 4 asparagus spears. Roll ham around filling.
Arrange in shallow 2-quart baking dish.
Pour remaining sauce over rolls. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes in a large Pyrex casserole.
(Good for guests, too.)
