Fruit Cake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in 3/4 c. water
    3 c. flour
    1 lb. dates
    1 lb. nuts
    1 lb. candied cherries
    1 lb. candied pineapple
Preparation
    Cream butter, sugar and eggs; add other ingredients.
    Drop on cookie sheet, 2 tablespoons for each cookie.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
