Banana Split Dessert Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    3 large bananas, sliced
    1/2 c. melted margarine
    2 c. graham cracker crumbs
    2 c. confectioners sugar
    1 c. margarine, softened
    2 eggs
    16 oz. whipped topping
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 c. chopped maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Drain pineapple, reserving juice.
    Pour pineapple juice over banana slices in small bowl; set aside.
    Spread mixture of melted margarine and graham cracker crumbs in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Cream confectioners sugar, softened margarine and eggs in mixer bowl for 15 minutes or until light and fluffy.
    Spread into prepared dish.
    Layer banana slices, pineapple and whipped topping over creamed mixture.
    Sprinkle with pecans and cherries.
    Chill until serving time.
    Yield:
    15 servings.
