Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    chicken or hen
    plain flour
Preparation
    Boil chicken or hen until tender.
    Remove chicken from broth. Sift one sifter of plain flour.
    Make hole in center and pour in 1 cup broth.
    Make up as you do biscuits.
    Make dough real stiff. Pinch off piece of dough about the size of a small fist.
    Place dough on floured surface.
    Roll dough very thin.
    Cut into strips with knife.
    Pick up strips and stretch and break into pieces about 3 inches long.
    Drop into boiling broth.
    Debone chicken and add to dumplings, lower heat and boil until dumplings are done.
