Swedish Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 medium size apples
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 stick margarine or butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 egg
    pinch of salt
    1/4 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Peel and slice apples to fill pie pan 2/3 full.
    Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon sugar and cinnamon.
    In small bowl combine the next 5 ingredients and nuts (optional).
    Pour over apples and bake 40 to 45 minutes at 350\u00b0 or until crust is golden brown.
    Rhubarb, berries and other fresh fruit can be substituted for the apples.
