Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
    1 stick oleo (1/2 c.)
    1 (1 lb.) pkg. Kraft caramels
    1 can condensed milk
    1 c. pecans
    1 small pkg. chocolate bits
    coconut
Preparation
    Mix cake mix as directed on package.
    Pour 1/2 of batter into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Melt together the oleo and caramels.
    Add condensed milk and mix well.
    Pour mixture over baked cake.
    Pour rest of cake mix over top of caramel mixture and top with pecans and chocolate bits.
    May sprinkle with coconut.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
