Rolled Molasses Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. molasses
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. melted shortening, cool
    1 c. hot tea
    3 tsp. soda
    6 to 7 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix hot tea and soda until fizzes, then cool.
    Beat eggs and sugar; add molasses and cooled shortening.
    Stir in cooled tea mixture.
    Stir in dry ingredients to form stiff dough.
    Let set 1 hour or more.
    Roll out on floured board; cut.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
