The Mayors Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cream of asparagus soup
    1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. chopped onions
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped green peppers
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime jello
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cubed
Preparation
    Bring soup and water to boil, stirring constantly.
    Add dry jello mix, cream cheese and mayonnaise.
    Beat until smooth and well mixed.
    Fold in celery, green peppers and onions.
    Pour into 8-inch square pan and chill 3 to 4 hours before serving.
