Lucy'S Tomato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 jar home canned tomatoes
    1 c. milk (whole or 2%)
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    pinch of salt
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Mix milk, flour, sugar and salt together until smooth.
    Pour tomatoes into saucepan and add mixture.
    Bring to a gentle boil, being careful not to scorch milk.
    Use black pepper to taste.
    (If purchased can tomatoes are used, use large can and crush.)
    Serve with a pat of butter.
