Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. self-rising meal
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. self-rising flour
2 onions, diced
1 egg

Preparation

Mix all ingredients and drop by teaspoon into hot oil.
Cook until golden brown over medium heat.
