Orange Slice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. margarine
4 eggs
3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour*
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 lb. orange slice candy, cut up
1 lb. dates, cut up
2 c. nuts
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 can coconut

Preparation

*Reserve 1/2 cup flour for sliced candy.
