Chocolate Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. applesauce
1/2 c. oil
1 c. chocolate chips

Preparation

Mix flour, sugar, salt,
cocoa,
soda
and spices.
Add applesauce and oil.
Stir until
smooth.
Pour
into a 12-inch Dutch oven.
Bake 60 minutes.
After 30 minutes of baking time elapses sprinkle chocolate chips on top and resume baking.
