Banana Split Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
    1 stick margarine, unmelted
    1 stick margarine, melted
    2 c. confectioners sugar
    1 pkg. light cream cheese
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    5 to 6 medium size bananas
    1 (9 oz.) container whipped topping
    1 c. whole pecans
    1 c. maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Combine vanilla wafers with one stick melted margarine well on bottom of 8 1/2 x 13-inch dish.
    Beat together remaining stick of margarine, confectioners sugar and cream cheese.
    Spread on top of crust.
    Add can of drained pineapple on top of cream cheese mixture.
    Slice bananas and cover with whipped topping.
    Place pecans and cherries on top.
