Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 bars German sweet chocolate
1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. ground nuts
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy; add vanilla. Sift flour and measure 1 1/4 cups and sift with salt three times. Add to creamed mixture and blend well.
Using a meat grinder, grind nuts and chocolate together; fold into creamed mixture. Drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake in a 250\u00b0 oven for 40 minutes.
