Crumb Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 stick oleo
    2 c. molasses or King syrup
    2 c. hot water
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix
    flour
    and
    sugar together.
    Now cut in oleo.
    Set aside. Mix molasses and hot water which soda and vinegar have been added to.
    First,
    put
    half of liquid in pie shell (unbaked), then crumbs on top.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 15 minutes, then at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Makes 2 pies.
