Cheddar Crust Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
dash of salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese (6 oz.)
4 to 6 Tbsp. water
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
6 c. peeled apple slices
2 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation

Combine flour and salt; cut in shortening until mix resembles coarse crumbs.
Stir in cheese.
Add water while mixing lightly with a fork; form into ball.
Divide dough in half.
On lightly floured surface, roll dough ball to 12-inch circle.
Place in 9-inch pie plate.
