Granny William'S Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Mix cream of tartar, flour, salt and baking soda.
    In another bowl, mix sugar, shortening and eggs.
    Beat on medium speed until fluffy, then add flour mixture slowly on low.
    Chill mixture about 2 hours or until you can make balls about walnut size.
    Make balls and roll them in the cinnamon and sugar mixture.
    Place them about 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
