Pepper Jelly - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. green peppers, grated and drained
    6 1/2 c. sugar
    45 shakes Tabasco sauce
    1 1/4 c. cider vinegar
    red hot and crushed pepper
    1 bottle Certo
    3 to 4 drops green food coloring
Preparation
    Bring first 5 ingredients to a rolling boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
    Add Certo, stirring in all at once.
    Simmer 2 minutes.
    Remove from heat and add green food coloring.
    Fill small jars and cap with 1/8-inch wax.
    Cool overnight, then cover. Makes 7 or 8 baby food jars.
