Pickled Garlic - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. fresh garlic, peeled
    1 1/2 c. white distilled vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In a 2-quart non-aluminum pan, combine vinegar, sugar and salt.
    Bring to a boil and cook until sugar is dissolved.
    Drop garlic into boiling mixture and cook uncovered for 1 minute over high heat, stirring occasionally.
    Remove from heat; cool.
