Caramel Snappers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. small pecan halves (about 144)
    36 light caramels
    1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces, melted
Preparation
    Grease cookie sheet.
    On it, arrange pecans, flat side down, in a group of four.
    Place one caramel on each cluster of pecans. Heat in a 325\u00b0 oven, about 4 to 8 minutes or until caramels soften.
    (Watch carefully; various caramels melt at different rates.)
    Remove from oven.
    With buttered spatula, flatten caramel over pecans.
    Cool slightly; remove from pan to waxed paper. Swirl melted chocolate on top.
    Makes 36.
