Ingredients

1 dishpan apples, peeled and sliced
3/4 to 1 c. vinegar
5 lb. sugar
Preparation

Mix vinegar and sugar; pour over apples.
Add a small amount of water if needed to help dissolve sugar and start apples cooking.
Cook until liquid is thick and bubbly.
Cool.
Put in Ziploc bags and freeze.
