Lemon Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. Pillsbury's Best all-purpose flour or unbleached flour
1 c. butter or margarine, softened
1/2 c. powdered sugar
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
dash of salt
5 Tbsp. lemon juice (juice of 2 lemons)
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
powdered sugar
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
(Lightly spoon flour into a measuring cup; level off.)
Combine flour, butter and 1/2 cup powdered sugar.
Mix thoroughly and press into ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, mix egg, sugar, salt and lemon juice. Fold in 1/4 cup flour and baking powder.
Pour onto hot crust; bake 25 minutes longer.
Cool; cut into squares and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Makes 2 dozen.
