Frosty Mandarin Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. orange Jell-O
    2 c. boiling water
    1 pt. orange sherbet
Preparation
    Drain oranges, measuring syrup.
    Add water to syrup to make 1 cup.
    Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water.
    Add 1 cup cold liquid. Add sherbet by teaspoonfuls, stirring until melted.
    Chill until thickened.
    Fold in oranges.
    Chill until set.
    Makes 8 servings.
