Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
1 c. Crisco
2 eggs
1/2 c. sour milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (8 oz.) pkg. dates, cut in small pieces
1/4 c. nuts
3 1/2 c. flour
Preparation

Cream the sugar, Crisco and eggs.
Add the sour milk with the salt and vanilla.
Add the flour, dates and nuts.
Drop on greased baking cookie sheet.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
