Homemade Chocolate Syrup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. Hershey's cocoa (any unsweetened cocoa will do)
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    1 c. hot water
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine cocoa, sugar and salt in medium saucepan.
    Gradually add water until mixture is smooth.
    Stir constantly until mixture comes to a boil and allow to boil for 3 minutes.
    Remove from heat and add vanilla.
    Allow to cool and cover and refrigerate.
    Makes 2 cups syrup (16 ounces).
