Perie'S Creamy Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. minced onion
3 Tbsp. margarine
4 1/2 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. milk
3 c. chicken broth
10 oz. frozen broccoli, chopped
1 c. carrots, finely grated
Preparation

Saute onion in margarine until tender.
Stir in flour and salt.
Gradually add milk, stirring constantly, in double boiler. (If careful and stir can use saucepan.)
Bring to boil.
Add chicken broth, broccoli and carrots.
Cook (do not boil) over low heat, about 25 minutes.
Stir occasionally.
Serves 8.
