Saucy Party Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
    1 small onion, grated
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. monosodium glutamate
    1 (16 oz.) can whole cranberry sauce
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 (8 oz.) can whole cranberry sauce
Preparation
    Combine first 7 ingredients; mix well and shape into 1-inch balls.
    Combine 16 ounce can cranberry sauce in large saucepan and heat thoroughly.
    Add meatballs; cover and simmer 50 to 55 minutes or until done.
    Add remaining can of cranberry sauce; heat thoroughly.
    Transfer to chafing dish and keep warm.
    (I heat and serve mine in a crock-pot.)
