Molasses Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/4 c. molasses
    4 eggs
    3 c. flour (plain)
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Beat in eggs and molasses.
    Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk.
    Bake in 11 x 15-inch well-greased pan in 325\u00b0 oven about 25 minutes.
    Burns easily.
    Partly cool and cut into squares.
