Carrot Salad(Shirley'S) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange gelatin
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. shredded lemon peel
    1/2 c. orange juice
    1 c. chopped unpared apples
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 c. shredded carrots
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin and sugar in boiling water.
    Add cream cheese and beat until smooth with beater.
    Add lemon and orange juices. Chill until partially set.
    Add carrots and apples.
    Place in mold.
    Chill until firm.
    Unmold.
    Garnish with carrot curls and orange section, if desired, or serve plain.
