Theresa'S Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 large eggs
    4 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. sugar
    4 to 4 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream together butter and sugar.
    Add eggs and blend.
    In a separate bowl, sift flour and baking powder together.
    Add to creamy mixture; gradually mix in 1 teaspoon vanilla.
    Divide into 2 parts (for easier rolling) and chill for 1 to 2 hours.
    Roll dough approximately 1/8-inch thick.
    Cut with desired cookie cutters.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 6 to 8 minutes.
    Makes approximately 2 dozen large cookies.
