Hoosier Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 large cooked potatoes, sliced thick
    1 lb. American cheese, diced
    1/4 c. milk
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    salt and pepper to taste
    bacon
Preparation
    Toss all ingredients together (mixture will be thick).
    Put into a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
    Top with 6 to 8 slices crumbled bacon. Bake at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour.
    Recipe can be doubled. Actually improves with reheating.
