German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. bacon, fried and drained
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped onion
    3 tsp. salt (optional)
    3 Tbsp. flour
    2/3 c. sugar
    2/3 c. vinegar
    8 c. potatoes, cooked and sliced
    4 Tbsp. bacon grease
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 1/3 c. water
Preparation
    Combine celery, onion, salt and flour.
    Add to bacon grease and cook over low heat until tender.
    Add sugar, vinegar, pepper and water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Pour over the potatoes in a 3-quart baking dish.
    Crumble bacon on top.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
