Pecan Crispies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. butter
    2 1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 beaten eggs
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream shortening, butter and sugar.
    Add eggs; beat well. Sift dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture.
    Add nuts.
    Drop from teaspoon, about 2 inches apart, onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Makes 5 dozen.
