Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix
    2 qt. strawberries
    a few fresh strawberries (for garnish)
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    2 large pkg. vanilla instant pudding
    2 medium tubs Cool Whip
Preparation
    Bake yellow cake as directed on package.
    Cool and cut into 2-inch cubes.
    Mash strawberries and sweeten to taste.
    Reserve a few fresh ones for garnish.
    Mix pudding as directed on package. If too thick, add more milk.
    In a punch bowl, layer cake, pudding, strawberries, pineapple and Cool Whip until all gone, ending with Cool Whip.
    Garnish with strawberry slices.
    Keep refrigerated.
