2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
Cut shortening into flour with pastry blender or knife until mixture is fine crumbs.
Mix well and roll out to 1/2-inch thick.
