Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
3 sticks butter
5 eggs
1 c. sweet milk
3 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. lemon
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar together until fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time.
Beat well after each addition.
Add milk, flour and baking powder.
Add lemon and vanilla.
Beat well.
Bake in tube pan; set in cold oven and turn heat up to 350\u00b0.
Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes.
