Coney Island Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. salad oil
1/2 lb. franks, cooked
1 lb. hamburger
2 cans tomato-herb sauce
1/2 c. sliced green onions
1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
2 c. elbow macaroni (8 oz.)
salt and pepper
olive slices (for garnish)
Preparation

Heat oil in large skillet.
Add franks and brown on all sides, turning frequently.
Remove and set aside.
Add beef to drippings and stir constantly, until browned.
Drain off excess fat.
Stir in browned franks.
Add tomato sauce and 1/2 cup olives.
Add cooked macaroni to meat sauce mixture and toss lightly until combined.
Season to taste.
