7 Minute Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites, unbeaten
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    1/3 c. water
    2 tsp. white Karo
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in double boiler.
    Beat with mixer about 1 minute, then cook over the boiling water, beating constantly until frosting is stiff.
    Remove.
    Add vanilla and beat a little longer.
    Cover cake.
