Kathryn'S Country Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large (No. 10 size) can green beans or 4 regular size cans
    1 lb. bacon
    1 large onion, chopped
Preparation
    Brown bacon and onion in skillet or bottom of Dutch oven. Crumble bacon.
    Add green beans; do not drain.
    Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cook approximately 1 1/2 hours.
