Sour Cream Hash Browns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) pkg. hash browns
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 can cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    bacon or bacon bits (optional)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together, except cheese. Put in 9 x 13-inch pan. Top with cheese. Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
