Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 Tbsp. strawberry jello
1 cup sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup hot water
3 drops red food coloring
1 quart fresh strawberries
1 baked pie shell

Preparation

Mix together sugar, cornstarch and jello.
Add water.
Cook over medium heat until mixture is thick and clear.
Add food coloring.
Cool.
Arrange strawberries in pie shell.
Pour glaze over berries.
Chill in refrigerator.
Serve with whipped cream.
