Red Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice
    4 Tbsp. oil or drippings
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 c. water
    1 red or green pepper, chopped
    1 tsp. paprika
    2 tsp. salt
    2 cloves garlic
Preparation
    Place rice in frying pan with oil or bacon fat.
    Add onion and garlic, minced.
    Fry 10 minutes; add rest of ingredients.
    Cook slowly about 1 hour.
    Add water as needed until rice is tender.
