Corn Bread Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. corn meal
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 large onion
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Put oil in your frying pan.
    Let it heat up, then drop spoonfuls of batter in the pan.
    Let brown.
    Turn and cook about 5 to minutes, until done.
